We usually meet on the 1st Monday of the month in the Unitarian Meeting Hall, Brunswick Square, Bristol, BS2 8PE.
Our meetings run from 7.30pm – 9.00pm. However, please check the current programme before setting out as we occasionally have to move our date, for example in case of a bank holiday.
Our meetings typically have a guest speaker. There is usually a presentation for about an hour followed directly by thirty minutes of questions from the audience. We often go to a nearby pub after our meetings for a drink and more informal chat.
Everyone is welcome to visit our meetings, whether they have an interest in humanism or the specific topic we are discussing, or for any other reason! There is no need to be a member or announce that you plan to attend but if you would like to make contact beforehand please do so and we’ll be looking out for you.
Monthly meetings are free but we may ask a small donation to cover costs.
We are always keen to receive suggestions for future meetings. Please contact us with any ideas you may have.
We host events such as the annual Darwin Day Lecture in association with the Bristol Festival of Ideas, and you should keep an eye on our current events page, Facebook page or meet up group for details about these.
